K - Knowledge

        Going back to the school days, I remember my duty as board monitor being cleaning the board and writing new proverb or good quotes each day  One of the most popular and common was "Knowledge is Power" its frequency to flash on the board was the highest i.e after every fortnight ,being the smallest and easiest one to remember.  Though I loved the proverb very much ,it took time for me to realize the value and importance of the lines . True power lies in knowledge and not in physical strength. No one can defeat you if you  have proper knowledge of any subject. There's no time limit for acquiring it.
      Most of us normally confuse and consider Education and knowledge as similar terms. When I finished my college and got degree I realized education and knowledge are totally different. Being a commerce student and post graduate , I hated accounts like anything . The reason was I had no in depth knowledge of the subject which made the subject tougher. When I got to work into accounts department for the first time it was very difficult for me to overcome the pressure and then I came across many terms practically which I had learnt theoretically. Gradually I started loving the subject. What I learnt in college was just a formal education to gain degree however real life encounter with the subject helped me gain knowledge.Education is what we take or acquire through schools, colleges and universities whereas real life experiences introduces us to knowledge.
         Knowledge is nothing but education accompanied by experience together.
