Fetus in Bulb


A visit to a Paed/doctor's clinic with my 4-year-old daughter brought me closer to a pearl of new philosophical wisdom. As I was waiting for my turn, my eyes caught attention over “Garbha Sanskar "(Which means educating the child’s mind inside the womb) pamphlet stuck up on the clinics slightly rustic board. The pamphlet had all the fetal developmental pictures on it. How amazing it is! The greatest architect of the Universe has designed a wonderful place for humans to spend their initial years in the safest of safest place. And yeah! It’s none other than the womb. A much-secured place with all the facilities inbuilt, where an offspring is conceived and gestation takes place before delivery. It’s a wonderful God’s creation.

An occurrence of a baby inside the amniotic sac itself is miraculous.That’s when my imagination went to another level - A fetus inside an amniotic sac resembles a bulb so closely. It's inside the amniotic sac that everything happens - physiological, mental, spiritual, and behavioral development takes place right from the time baby is conceived. Ideas, thoughts, feelings start developing, depending on the input it gets through the outside environment and of course greatly influenced by the mother.


Similarly, as a filament inside the bulb and an adequate electric current are required for a bulb to glow, an umbilical cord with a proper supply of thoughts helps a child to grow actively and confidently. For a child to grow in the right direction, it is essential to have a filament that is strong enough filled with positivity.

A girl in glasses

(pic courtesy :Image by GraphicMama-team on Pixabay) The list just goes on with comments for girls wearing glasses. "Oh she looks icky", "God she is damn studious but not a girlfriend type". Normally a girl without specs is chosen over a girl with specs for a marriage and thats how conventionally choices are made. I always wondered why a simple girl wearing spectacles in a movie is moved to contact lenses the moment a more sexier and modern character has to be portrayed. Well people need to give a second thought,if they are of the opinion that girls look less hot and less approachable in specs. Personally i feel it makes a woman with glasses stand out from the rest of the crowd. Hell with the traditional thought pattern , girls or woman whoever it is must stop undermining themselves for any choices they make. It's not up to the people but it is you who can make the change in yourself.Remember you are not here to please anyone's perception....
